Played golf Wed. and Thursday

Just another note. Went again Thursday with my dad and shot a 47 on the fist nine and a 37 the second nine for a total of 84 AGAIN!!!! Two days in a row I hit an 84. I had a chance to eagle the first hole and missed by a few inches. I did get a birdie though. Well I am getting ready to watch the Alabama A-day game and relax today. I finished all my yard work yesterday and boy am I tired.

Went to Oxbow Creek in columbus, Ga and played a little golf (18 holes). Had one of the best days of golf ever. I shot an 84! This is about 20 points lower than normal. I hope to play once more before spring break is over, but if not, I will be very happy. Going to watch my play play more WII airplanes- he loves to play airplanes, swords and ping pong. See ya

I would strongly recommend you visiting the IMAX in Columbus, Ga to see Hubble 3-D. It was great! I have included a link to the website that describes in detail what they did on the last mission to Hubble. It is a cool interactive wwebsite with detailed pictures. Enjoy!

Click the link to the right labled Sky and Telescope to visit a web site that will allow you to view what you will be seening tonight. It does require a short registration but well worth it. It is FREE.

Tonight, I saw: Saturn and its rings. Betelguese, Mars, Venus, Mercury, the Big Dipper and a few other things I am not sure about :o) Go ahead and plan to be outside tomorrow and watch for all of these items and more. My wife recently interviewed for a position at Marshall Middle School in Columbus and was offered the position Monday afternoon! Brainetics so far

Friday I showed them how to find the “day” they were born by using a few calculator moves and a chart for their month. WOW! That got them going today. They are using their minds more and more with out having to be told EVERY step to do everytime! I can see where this seems like ‘party games’, but it also has my students excited and they are getting better at remembering the different steps and the new ideas I am presenting! I will continue to update.

So far we have been working with the Brainetics program to try and boost student excitement of math and I have found that at first the kids really liked it. But after a few days they tend to get frustrated and now they are not as happy. We will keep you posted.

Well sorta! Thursday the 18th was my birthday and my wife and son got me a cake that was designed like a senteo clicker from smartboard. Some family and friends came by to enjoy with me Saturday!

Maybe between the SMARTBOARD Guide and the SENTEO cake, SMART will ‘donate’ a set of clickers to me for my class room!!! hahaha. These clickers cost $1999 for a set of 32 clickers. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
